Oil City Roller Derby is Edmonton’s only co-gender flat track roller derby league. We invite adults of all genders and identities to join us for our Recruitment Week to learn all about this fast-paced sport.
Never roller skated before? No problem! Most of our players and recruits have no former skating experience, so you’ll be in good company. We also have gear for you to borrow so you don’t need to make any big decisions (or purchases) until you’re sure this is the sport for you. The first two weeks of skating with us is risk free too! Payment for the program isn’t due until the end of the two week trial period, when you decide whether or not you want to commit to the sport. If you decide derby isn’t the sport for you, no harm done. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try!
