OCRD’s “Try It” Nights

Who: Adults 18+, all genders welcome!
When: February 22 and/or February 28// 7PM-9PM
Where: Alberta Avenue, 9210 118 Ave NW, Edmonton AB
What: Roller derby! Mixed gender, low contact and full contact!

Interested in taking up a new hobby? Maybe you want to meet new people, live a healthier lifestyle, or just try something different. Whatever your motivations are, look no further!

Oil City Roller Derby is a mixed gender flat track roller derby league. We invite adults of all genders and identities to join us for our “Try It” nights to learn all about this fast-paced sport.

Never roller skated before? No problem! Most of our players and recruits have no former skating experience, so you’ll be in good company. We also have gear for you to borrow so you don’t need to make any big decisions (or purchases) until you’re sure this is the sport for you. “Try It” nights is risk free too! No fees for “Try It” nights.
